Their cold noodles (Liang Pi) was very chewy (qq) and tasted fresh. Similar to what I remember from my childhood. The perfect balance of their vinegar and chili oil. The meat in bun (rou Jia mou) tasted pretty good. The bun here is different from what I remember but the meat inside was fragrant and tasty. Would come back.
This is a smaller well appointed restaurant with plenty of parking. They have just remodeled and everything is very clean and tidy. The service was friendly and quick. All of the food came hot and tasty. The servers were very helpful in deciding what to order because everything sounded so good The food was amazing and as a noodle lover I can tell you this place will satisfy your noodle cravings!
This is one of my go-to restaurants—it’s close to home and the food is consistently great. I’ve eaten here many times, and every visit proves that they maintain a high standard in both taste and quality. Definitely a reliable spot for a solid meal.
This noodle shop is a hidden gem! We tried the “Three-in-One Mixed Noodles” and “Mahu Noodles,” and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold and authentic, with the perfect balance of spices and textures. The noodles were fresh and cooked to perfection. The shop has a cozy and clean atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the dishes to us. It’s a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of traditional Shaanxi cuisine. Highly recommend!
IG@waitfoodfirstSix alley in Santa Ana has thin soup noodles as well as my favorite bouncy and chewy hand pulled noodles coated in a savory zha Jiang sauce. They even have these hot and sour dumplings that you can’t pass up
This is a restaurant mainly for noodles. They didn’t have a lot of other menu but the noodles are really good. The famous bowls are those hand-pulled noodles, but I liked the cold noodles that was more silky the most. They’re all made in house. The server told me that they everything took manual labor and I think it was really worth it. Dumplings were actually very good too!
Great Xi’an food! Love the pulled pork bun, one of the best & most authentic one in OC. All the noodle & dumplings are amazing too, definitely will come back for more!
Hidden Gems in Santa Ana!! Their noodles was super flavorful and very, very tender. And was surprised me wa their skewers, it’s not like any other skewers at the other places. The taste was very refreshing, but also flavorful. The whole restaurant was very clean and the staff was very very nice. Overall a great experience. Come to try if you are near the area.
